If i had read description i would know this was not for me as it is only text quests.. I recomend this for people who want to play that kind of gameLong time since i was so disapointed in a game..Buy "Space rangers HD a war apart" instead.. This is far from what you expect after playing that..Seriously the biggest letdown in gaming i have ever experienced...Im going to try to force myself to play it some more.. Hopefully there is somthing good about it further inn...Its only text quests... Ill leave the recomendation because i like the franchise, but this is not a good game...EDIT: I expected a different game.. This is probably a good game if you enjoyed that part of the old games... I showed this game to a friend and he was all like whoa dude they ruined space rangers it doesnt have trading or space combat or anything it's just a \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 cyoa. and I said \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665IN A I LOVE THOSE!sadly the emphasis should have been on the \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 and not the cyoa because it is, as far as i've seen, an endless array of false choices or luck-based quests. the worst so far was a racing game -- yes, a racing game made entirely in a text-based choose your own adventure system -- in which sometimes, even if i made the safest choice possible, i would just crash my pod racer and get a game over. this is frustrating as hell because the actual setting is neat and has some of the fun cool things you remember from space rangers; the writing can be funny and it's not like i liked the economic part of things anyway. but the benefit of how many weird gameplay mechanics there were in space rangers 2 was that you could avoid things you didn't like. here, it's all text adventure, and the text adventures are not very good, so it's DOA. i really wanted to like it! i did! but i don't.
